Jakarta - Huawei will boost investment in research & development (R & D) in order to overtake the dominance of Apple in the business realm of electronic devices, especially in the smartphone market is still controlled by the iPhone.

Huawei has overtaken Samsung and Apple in some developed countries, including Spain and Portugal. International sales are expected to contribute 40% of the company's revenue in 2016.
This year Huawei reported smartphone shipments have surpassed 100 million units this year. Within five years, Huawei sales rose significantly, whereas in 2010, cell phone sales are not more than 3 million units.
