Nine Win Streak Not Enough for Buffon

Genoa - Gianluigi Buffon clearly delighted with Juventus winning streak that has touched the figure of nine. But Buffon still require improvement in order to win the series continues.

Juve continued pace of his victory by defeating Sampdoria in the 19th giornata Serie A, Monday (11/01/2015) pm dawn. Come to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, Juve go home with a 2-1 victory.

It was the ninth win in a row recorded Juve in Serie A. With the rapid pace of the Bianconeri now sit second in the standings with 39 points, just two points ahead of Napoli in the first position.

After being passed through a negative period at the beginning of the season, Juve's Buffon pleased to see today's rate. However, the Juve captain is still not satisfied. Buffon hopes Juve can continue winning streak and become champion again.

"We are clearly in the remarkable series of victories. We passed a good, which has been running for some time and I hope will continue much longer," said Buffon told Mediaset Premium as quoted by Soccerway.

"It is a Juventus that we all want to see. We are now in second place in the standings, but we must continue to evolve," said Buffon.

"Juventus have never competed to finish in second place. We want the title again," he asserted.(nds / krs)
