    One-handed surfers Women Conquer 'Monster Waves' in Hawaii

    Honolulu - Bethany Hamilton lost his hand due to the bite of a shark 12 years ago. Now, only 6 months after giving birth, she conquered the vicious waves in Hawaii.

    Name Bethany Hamilton certainly is not foreign to the ears of the surfers. Women born in 1990 is a professional surfer, who lost his hand due to shark bites in 2003 ago. But Bethany did not stop, he continued desire to surf even if only with one hand.

    More recently, Bethany managed to conquer the most violent waves in Hawaii. This was done in Bethany just pause 6 months after the first child. Waves as high as 15 meters, dubbed 'jaws', because no one can predict when the waves will break.

    "I always had a passion with huge waves and pushing my skills as much as possible. I just ride the waves heaviest, and the biggest of my life," Bethany said as quoted by ABC Australia, Friday (01/08/2016).

    'Jaws' was not the only waves 'monster' successful 'subdued' Bethany. Previously he wade the surf Teahupoo in Tahiti, and the Banzai Pipeline in Hawaii. He lost his hand when bitten by a shark in waters off the island of Kauai, Hawaii.

    In 2004, Bethany wrote a biography of his experiences in the book "Soul Surfer: A True Story of Faith, Family, and Fighting to Get Back on the Board '. The book was later made into the film 'Soul Surfer' release in 2011.
