Quoted from Cnet (8/2), personal information of nearly 30,000 government employees in the United States, including members of the FBI, released publicly on the Internet. Using the email account of the Legal Department, a hacker claimed to have gained access to the intranet of the department.
The hackers allegedly downloaded personal information of more than 20,000 members of the FBI, and 9000 more members of the Defense Department of the Interior United States. The hackers announced the original information on a website that informtion contains the name, title and contact details.
Twitter used to spread the information, which in-tweetkan along with the hashtag pro-Palestinian. It remains unclear just how dangerous are circulating this information to the defense of the United States.
A spokesman for the US Department of Justice, stated that the information just contact information only. No information about sensitive personal details, which could potentially endanger the lives of members of the government officials.
This is not the first time that happened. In July last year, more than 22 million people were affected by cyber attacks directed to the offices of the US government. It was a series of cyber attacks that make the United States government as a target.
