From the calendar released on the official MotoGP website, the number of series for the 2018 season is 19 series. That is, the number of races next year will be more than this year which is only 18 pieces.
Qatar will remain host of the opening series in March. Meanwhile, the last series that was held in November still held in Valencia.
MotoGP Thailand, the only new series on 2018 MotoGP calendar, will be held in early October. Racing in Thailand is planned to be held at the Circuit Buriram.
In this temporary calendar, the location of the British MotoGP is not decided after the Circuit of Wales is canceled to host. The choice for this series is advanced at Silverstone or back to Donington Park.
