If you were to Google "NBA founder" on Tuesday morning, you would be completely misinformed. A Google glitch seems to show a vocal NBA father as founder of the National Basketball Association.

The basketball as we know it was discovered by Dr. James Naismith in the late 19th century when he was just a physical education instructor at the YMCA in Springfield, Mass. In 1949, the American Basketball Association and the National League joined to form the NBA.
The ball is the father of the Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball. Two other sons, LiAngelo and LaMelo, will soon play for the Lithuanian club Prienu Vytautas.
Last month, LaVar Ball did say that he wanted to launch a basketball league for a national-grade player who had graduated from high school but did not want to go to college. The Junior Basketball Association will be funded by its Big Brand Baller.
