Apple is said to be trying out this new feature on a number of applications, such as DoorDash, OpenTable, PlayStation 4 Second Screen, Yelp, and YouTube. These applications may be used as an example by Apple at the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) which will be done online.

This feature has previously been offered by Google on Android, with the name Slices. This feature offers some applications through search results and Google Assistant, as well as the Instant Apps feature on Android.
